Repeaters Print

CARA currently operates four repeaters Two are on the 70cm amateur band and two are on the 2m amateur band. 

All repeaters transmit a 156.7Hz CTCSS tone when in analog mode, enabling users to implement tone squelch. Using tone squelch is suggested for those with analog-only radios who do not wish to hear the digital roar while monitoring the repeater.

They are accessed as follows:

System Fusion (C4FM) in Automatic Mode - The repeater will switch between analog and C4FM modes, automatically, to match the input signal

A 156.7 Hz CTCSS tone is required for the analog mode

448.275 -5 MHz

Analog FM, only

A 156.7 Hz CTCSS tone is required for access
