26 January 2022 presentation by Rob Gold, KB3PSD

Do you live in an antenna-restricted community and want to work on the HF bands? Then an end-fed-half-wave (EFHW) antenna may be right for you. Rob Gold, KB3PSD, explains what EFHWs are, their advantages, and how he installed one at his house. These antennas are stealthy with only a single small wire leaving your house. They are easy to set up since EFHWs don’t require ground radials and other complications beyond a tree or post to anchor the far end of the wire. They work on many bands (typically 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meters) without an antenna tuner. Rob will show his installation that may help others to get onto the HF bands.
