CARA operates four public-use repeaters, two on the 70cm amateur band and two on the 2m amateur band. They provide superb coverage of the area surrounding Columbia and much of Central Maryland.

All repeaters transmit a 156.7Hz CTCSS tone when in analog mode, enabling users to implement tone squelch. Using tone squelch is suggested for those with analog-only radios who do not wish to hear the digital roar while monitoring the repeater.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us maintain the repeaters.
