Operating and Tech Events

CARA has several HF operating activities throughout the year, including Summer Field Day, and when weather and health situations permit, Winter Field Day.  In addition, a number of members are very active in the Parks on the Air (POTA) ® program, activating county, state or national parks.  Additionally, CARA hosts special events to demonstrate satellite communications; help members build, evaluate, and tune antennas; and get hands on experience with traditional and new technology.
