CARA will be supporting the 2018 Spring 8K & 4K public service event on Saturday, April 21, 2018. To sign follow the link, below.

Knights of Columbus Race Volunteer Registration

The event will be held at the Shrine of Saint Anthony (Franciscan Friars Monastery) in Ellicott City and is hosted by the Knights of Columbus, St. Louis the King Council 11898. The event supports the Knights of Columbus, their youth ministry, and other local charities.

We will start the net around 8:30 AM, the runners start at 9:00 AM, and the net should close before 11:00 AM. This is a great event for people interested in learning about CARA support for public service events! You don't need more than a handheld 2 meter radio, and we would be happy to pair you up with an experienced ham.
